Michael was born on June 23rd, 1804 in KY. Michael's father was Bright Pruett and his mother was Annister. His paternal grandparents were Michael Pruett and Elizabeth Bright. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Eli, James, William, Phoebe, Elizabeth, Matilda, Mahala, Nancy and Hannah. He was the fourth youngest of the ten children. He had three half-sisters named Catherine C., Margaret E. and Anna Crow. He died at the age of 65 on September 12th, 1869 in Morgan Co,IN.-
