Hannah was born on April 8th, 1812 in KY. Hannah's father was Bright Pruett and her mother was Annister. Her paternal grandparents were Michael Pruett and Elizabeth Bright. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Eli, James, Michael, William, Phoebe, Elizabeth, Matilda, Mahala and Nancy. She was the youngest of the ten children. She had three half-sisters named Catherine C., Margaret E. and Anna Crow.-
