Cyril Guy was born on October 15th, 1883 in of Oakenden,Port Mackay,Queensland,Australia. Cyril Guy's father was Arthur Kemmis and his mother was Emily Slatyer Gibson. His paternal grandparents were Arthur Kemmis and Aphra Raymond. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Arthur Hume Raymond, Ernst Sydney, Frank Cecil, Vivian Maughan, Lionel de Camois, Gerald Wilfred, Mary Aphrasia May, Emily Florence Minna, Amy Constance, Ida Myzra and Ruby Muriel. He was the second youngest of the twelve children. He had a half-brother named Arthur Alexander. He died at the age of 27 in 1910 in (unmd).General Notes
