Elizabeth Young

Elizabeth was born in 1753 in ,Augusta County,VA.¹   Elizabeth's father was Robert Young and her mother was Mary Douglass.  Her maternal grandparents were Jonathon Douglass and UNKNOWN Jemima. She had eight brothers and five sisters, named John, Samuel, James, Robert, Charles, William, Thomas, Joseph, Agnes, Jane, Margaret, Martha and Mary.  She was the fourth youngest of the fourteen children.  She died at the age of 45 in 1798 in ,Cocke,TN.

‌Elizabeth and John were married in a religious ceremony in 1770 in ,Augusta County,VA.  They had four sons and two daughters, named Robert, John, James, Abel, Priscilla and Mary.
