Agnes Young

Agnes was born in 1733 in ,,Ireland.¹   Agnes' father was Robert Young and her mother was Mary Douglass.  Her maternal grandparents were Jonathon Douglass and UNKNOWN Jemima. She had eight brothers and five sisters, named John, Samuel, James, Robert, Charles, William, Thomas, Joseph, Jane, Margaret, Martha, Elizabeth and Mary.  She was the oldest of the fourteen children.

‌Agnes and John were married in a religious ceremony about 1760.
