Joseph Masson was born on July 23rd, 1856 in Shelby IN. Joseph Masson's father was Thomas Ignatius Worland and his mother was Sarah Ann Thompson. His paternal grandparents were John Worland and Catherine Gough. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named John Middleton, Morris, Thomas, Charles Boris, George Henry, Tobias (Toby), James, Mary Elizabeth, Sarah Ellen, Susan Frances, Theresa and Louella (Ella). He was the sixth oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 62 on March 16th, 1919 in Waldron,Shelby,IN.-
