George Sweezey 
George was born about 1809 in Shenango Twp,Mercer,PA.1 George's father was Mathias Sweezey and his mother was Elizabeth Pounds. His paternal grandparents were Daniel Sweezey and Margaret Jordon. He had seven brothers and a sister, named William, Thomas W., Samuel, David, Mathias, Jefferson, Isaac and Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died in 1847 in ,West Middlesex,PA. He was buried in Haywood Cemetery.1 1 -
