David Pewitt 
David was born on June 12th, 1856 in Near Salem,Dent Co,Missouri. David's father was Malachi Pewitt and his mother was Jurettah Catherine Medlock. His maternal grandparents were David Medlock and Rachel Adams. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Labonn, James Henry, John S, Silas L, Martha C, Mary Albertine, Lottie A and Josephine J. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named William Washington, Joel, Nancy Jane and Susan Malinda. He died at the age of 70 on July 27th, 1926 in Dent Co,Missouri. He was buried in Dryfork Cemetery,Jack,Dent Co,Missouri.General Notes
