Jurettah Catherine was born in 1833 in South Carolina. Jurettah Catherine's father was David Medlock and her mother was Rachel Adams. She had eight brothers and two sisters, named John S, Gus, Jonathan L, Walter S Brit, William Henry, Silas Anderson, Rodolphus, Luther S, Dica Ann and Ann. She had a half-sister named Lucy Caroline. She died at the age of 67 in 1900 in Dryfork,Dent Co,Missouri. She was buried in Dryfork Cemetery,Jack,Dent Co,Missouri.
‌Jurettah Catherine and Malachi were married in a religious ceremony on November 12th, 1854 in Dent Co,Missouri. They had five sons and four daughters, named David, Labonn, James Henry, John S, Silas L, Martha C, Mary Albertine, Lottie A and Josephine J.
