James Morris 
James was born about 1785. James' father was William Morris and his mother was Sarah Godfrey. His paternal grandparents were William Morris and Isabella Gibson Howe; his maternal grandparents were Matthew Godfrey and Sarah Valentine. He had three brothers and two sisters, named William Godfrey, Fredrick, Jonathan, Tabitha and Sarah. He was the third oldest of the six children. He died in 1817.-
