Lucinda was born on January 22nd, 1828 in Shelby,IN. Lucinda's father was Neal McCann and her mother was Eliza Young. Her paternal grandparents were Pleasant Sr. McCann and Mary Robinson; her maternal grandparents were James Young and Mary Guyn. She had a brother and four sisters, named William, Patsy Ann, Polly Ann, Sarah and Elizabeth. She was the third oldest of the six children. She had a half-brother named John A. She died at the age of 60 on October 26th, 1888 in Santa Rosa,Sonoma,CA. She was buried in bennett valley cemetery.-
