William Neal was born on August 12th, 1848 in ,,IN. William Neal's father was Joseph Johnston Badger and his mother was Lucinda McCann. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Badger and Nancy Ann; his maternal grandparents were Neal McCann and Eliza Young. He had six brothers and three sisters, named James Albert, Robert Abraham, Benjamin Douglas, George McClellan, Joseph J, Henry Lee, Nancy Ann, Louisa Jane and Mary Ann Mllie. He was the second oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 36 in 1884 in Santa Rosa,Sonoma,CA.General Notes
