Mary MORTIMER

Mary was born on September 22nd, 1824 in Fleming,KY.  Mary's father was Famous MORTIMER and her mother was Mary BLUE.  Her paternal grandparents were Arthur Mortimer and UNKNOWN Sarah. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Emanuel, Famous, Nimrod Farrow, Marquis DeLafayette (Lafe), Frances (Fanny), Dorothy (Dolly) and Elvira Layton.  She was the third oldest of the eight children. She had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, named William, Bonaparte, David Meranda, Benjamin Sabastian, Sarah, Julianna and Kittura (Catherine).  She died at the age of 53 on August 18th, 1878 in LaBette,KS.
