Emanuel MORTIMER

Emanuel was born on July 27th, 1817 in Fleming,KY.  Emanuel's father was Famous MORTIMER and his mother was Mary BLUE.  His paternal grandparents were Arthur Mortimer and UNKNOWN Sarah. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Famous, Nimrod Farrow, Marquis DeLafayette (Lafe), Frances (Fanny), Mary, Dorothy (Dolly) and Elvira Layton.  He was the oldest of the eight children. He had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, named William, Bonaparte, David Meranda, Benjamin Sabastian, Sarah, Julianna and Kittura (Catherine).  He died at the age of 85 on May 11th, 1903 in LaBette,KS.

‌Emanuel and Mary were married in a religious ceremony in 1843.  They had a daughter named Frances.

‌Emanuel and Amanda were married in a religious ceremony before 1850.  They had a son named James Thompson.

‌Emanuel and Diana were married in a religious ceremony on May 7th, 1859 in Hamilton,OH.

They had three sons and a daughter, named George W., Lafayett, Wilson S. and Elvira.
