Kittura (Catherine) MORTIMER

Kittura (Catherine) was born in 1804 in Mason (Fleming),KY.  Kittura (Catherine)'s father was Famous MORTIMER and her mother was Fanny FITZGERALD.  Her paternal grandparents were Arthur Mortimer and UNKNOWN Sarah. She had four brothers and two sisters, named William, Bonaparte, David Meranda, Benjamin Sabastian, Sarah and Julianna.  She was the third youngest of the seven children. She had four half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Emanuel, Famous, Nimrod Farrow, Marquis DeLafayette (Lafe), Frances (Fanny), Mary, Dorothy (Dolly) and Elvira Layton.  She died at the age of 46 in 1850.

‌Kittura (Catherine) and John were married in a religious ceremony in 1825 in Fleming,KY.  They had a son and a daughter, named William and Sarah.
