Verna Hess 
Verna was born on June 28th, 1894 in Cool,Warren,IA. Verna's father was William W. Hess and her mother was Nancy Elizabeth Young. Her paternal grandparents were James T Hess and Sarah Ann Hite; her maternal grandparents were James M. Young and Margaret Lemmon. She had five brothers and five sisters, named James Carey Bug, Almo Thompson, William, Gail, Glenn, Lulu, Ora Ann, Merle, Grace and Estella H. She was the youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 93 on May 29th, 1988.-
