Ruth Gwin 
Ruth was born on March 29th, 1820 in ,Monroe,VA. Ruth's father was Samuel Gwin and her mother was Elizabeth Taylor. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Gwin and Elizabeth Lockridge. She had six brothers and six sisters, named Jesse, James, John, Samuel, Andrew, Laban, Mary, Jane, Elizabeth, Sarah, Julia Ann and Nancy. She was the fourth youngest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 66 in 1886.-
