Elizabeth was born about 1737 in ,Monroe,VA. Elizabeth's father was James Lockridge and her mother was Isabella Kincaid. Her maternal grandparents were David Kinkead and Winneford Hobson. She had four brothers and two sisters, named James, Robert Kincaid, Andrew, Samuel, Margaret and Sarah. She died about 1786.
Elizabeth and Samuel were married in a religious ceremony about 1777 in ,Monroe,VA. They had four sons and a daughter, named Samuel, James, Robert, John and Ruth Lockridge.
