William Ames 
William was born on November 2nd, 1820 in Pennsylvania. William's father was Nehemia Ames and his mother was Frances Craven. His paternal grandparents were Jabez Ames and Elizabeth Smith; his maternal grandparents were James C Craven and Hannah Leonard. He had six brothers and four sisters, named James, Leonard, John C, Theophilus, Nehemia Jr, Henry, Mary, Eliza, Hannah and Julia Ann. He was the third oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 44 on August 7th, 1865.-
