Theophilus Ames 
Theophilus was born on October 24th, 1830 in Pennsylvania. Theophilus' father was Nehemia Ames and his mother was Frances Craven. His paternal grandparents were Jabez Ames and Elizabeth Smith; his maternal grandparents were James C Craven and Hannah Leonard. He had six brothers and four sisters, named James, William, Leonard, John C, Nehemia Jr, Henry, Mary, Eliza, Hannah and Julia Ann. He was the fourth youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 33 in 1863 in Washington Co,Pennsylvania.General Notes
