Leonard Ames

Leonard was born on January 1st, 1827 in Pennsylvania. Leonard's father was Nehemia Ames and his mother was Frances Craven. His paternal grandparents were Jabez Ames and Elizabeth Smith; his maternal grandparents were James C Craven and Hannah Leonard. He had six brothers and four sisters, named James, William, John C, Theophilus, Nehemia Jr, Henry, Mary, Eliza, Hannah and Julia Ann. He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children.
