His paternal grandparents were Conan I Duke Of Bretagne and Ermangarde D' Anjou Duchess Of Bretagne; his maternal grandparents were Richard I "Sans Peur" Duke of Normandy and Gunnora de Crêpon , Duchess Of Normandy. He had three brothers and a sister, named Eudes, Robert OF, William and Emma. He was the oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 43 in 1040 in poisoned.2 -
