Otto "The Illustrious" Duke of was born about 0840 in of Saxony.1   Otto "The Illustrious" Duke of's father was Ludolph The Great of Saxony and his mother was Oda Billung.  His paternal grandparents were Bruno Buno of Saxony and Sabana Susanna de Montfort; his maternal grandparents were Billung Of Saxony and Atala Adele Italy. He had three sisters named Oda of, Luitgard , Princess of Saxony and Dtr of Otto the Great of.  He was the oldest of the four children. He had a half-sister named Waldrada of.  He died in Eastern Saxony (as Duke of Saxony).1
