Wilma Jean was born on January 7th, 1920 in Monroe County, Indiana. Wilma Jean's father was Aaron Wampler and her mother was Rosezetta Frances Shields. Her paternal grandparents were John W. Wampler and Delcena Vaught; her maternal grandparents were James Madison Shields and Mary Jane Heltonburg. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Ray, Wendell Marshall, Richard Leon, John Lee, James W., Lucille Mildred, Viola Pearl, Sally Laverne, Georgie Bernice and Mary Jo. She was the fifth youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 49 on January 26th, 1969 in Monroe County, Indiana. She was buried in Smithville Christian Church Cemetery, Smithville, Monroe Co., Indiana.-
