Jesse L. was born on July 11th, 1916 in Monroe Co., Indiana. Jesse L.'s father was Raymond M. Shields and her mother was Laura A. Archer. Her paternal grandparents were David Francis Shields and Phoebe Jane "Jennie" Stephens. She had three sisters named Elveda F., Ruth O. and Alice M.. She died at the age of 75 on August 16th, 1991 in Bloomington, Monroe Co., Indiana. She was buried in Smithville Cemetery, Monroe Co., Indiana.General Notes

Jessie L. Eads, 75, of Bloomington, died Friday at Fountanbleau
Nursing Center.
Born July 11, 1916, in Monroe County, she was the daughter of
Raymond and Laura (Archer) Shields. She was a former employee of Sarkes
Tarzian and RCA. She was a member of the Shiloh Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Rhea Kelley and Shirley Deckard,
both of Bloomington, and Delores Roberts of Indianapolis; three sisters,
Alice Crouch and Ruth Williamson, both of Bloomington, and Elveda Wampler
of Texas; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Eads, in 1990; and
one granddaughter.
Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Allen Funeral Home with the Rev.
Bruce Kelly officiating. Burial will be at Smithville Cemetery.
Friends may call 3 - 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral
