Flora Shields 
Flora was born on April 22nd, 1885 in Monroe County, Indiana. Flora's father was William C. Shields and her mother was Elizabeth A. Deckard. Her paternal grandparents were James Madison Shields and Martha J. Sciscoe; her maternal grandparents were Adam Deckard and Elizabeth Sylvester. She had seven brothers and two sisters, named Charles Edgar, William Oscar, Raymond, Keet, Fred, John W., Elza Flick, Lydia Florence and Nettie Roxie. She was the fourth youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 61 on December 1st, 1946 in Monroe County, Indiana. She was buried in Rosehill Cemetery, Bloomington, Monroe, Indiana.-
