Violet Mable was born on March 28th, 1927 in Lawrence Co., Indiana. Violet Mable's father was Sidney Meadows and her mother was Effie Shields. Her maternal grandparents were Luther Edward Shields and Lillie I. Eads. She had a brother and two sisters, named Wayne Edward, Bernice Louise and Hazel Angas. She was the second youngest of the four children.-
