His paternal grandparents were Peter Eads and Sarah A.( Nuckles) Knockolls; his maternal grandparents were James Martin and Elizabeth Sipes. He had nine brothers and four sisters, named Clarence, Ezra Ellis, Clifford R., Marshall P., Aaron Ray, Persing, Dewey, John, Herschell, Lula, Mary E., Eunice Mae and Ella. He died at the age of 81 on June 5th, 1984 in Monroe Co., Indiana. He was buried in Clear Creek Cemetery, Monroe Co., Indiana.General Notes
