James Hicks 
James was born about 1830 in Jackson Co,Virginia. James' father was Joseph Stephen Hicks and his mother was Margaret Boggs. His paternal grandparents were William Hix and Hannah Garrad\Jarrett; his maternal grandparents were John Boggs and Susanna Drennen. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, William, George Washington, Stephenson B (?), Lawrence, Samuel, Nancy Joanna, Elizabeth Jane and Margaret. He was the third youngest of the ten children. He died on October 22nd, 1893 in Charleston,WV. He was buried in Spring Hill Cemetery.-

Margaret was born in 1854 in Kanawha Salines. She died at the age of 3 on April 10th, 1857 in Kanawha Co,West Virginia.1
