Jeremiah B Sibley 
Jeremiah B was born in 1839.1 Jeremiah B's father was Elijah M Sibley and his mother was Eliza K Ingram. His paternal grandparents were Elijah Sibley and Mary Clay; his maternal grandparents were William Pines and Susan Strother. He had five brothers and seven sisters, named James Alexander, George Dunlap, Hartwell Spane, Henry Clay, John F., Mary Adeline, Julia, Eliza, Sarah Pines, Nancy Jane, Susan Samantha and Winifred Jane.General Notes

Jeremiah was a color sergeant in the 14th north Carolina Infantry at the battle of Malvern Hil l. He was wounded five times in the chest, arm and shoulder while charging a stone wall at th e head of his unit. He died at Chimborzao Army Hospital at Richmond, Va., as a result of these e wounds.
