Sarah Markin

Sarah was born on August 21st, 1849.¹   Sarah's father was William H Markin and her mother was Sarah V. Fillinger.  Her paternal grandparents were Charles W I Markin and Lucinda Dechard; her maternal grandparents were Henry Fillinger and Elizabeth Ferril. She had a brother and three sisters, named Jefferson Taylor, Elizabeth, Nancy Susan and Miranda S.  She was the second youngest of the five children.
