Jefferson Taylor Markin

Jefferson Taylor was born on July 18th, 1847.¹   Jefferson Taylor's father was William H Markin and his mother was Sarah V. Fillinger.  His paternal grandparents were Charles W I Markin and Lucinda Dechard; his maternal grandparents were Henry Fillinger and Elizabeth Ferril. He had four sisters named Elizabeth, Nancy Susan, Sarah and Miranda S.  He was the third oldest of the five children.  He died at the age of 68 on April 29th, 1916 in Gallia County, Ohio.¹ 

‌Jefferson Taylor and Isabelle Ruth were married in a religious ceremony on August 31st, 1870 in Gallia County, Ohio.¹   They had three sons and two daughters, named John Quincy, Clifford, Wheeler, Rena and Ruth.
