Elizabeth Markin

Elizabeth was born on November 20th, 1840.¹   Elizabeth's father was William H Markin and her mother was Sarah V. Fillinger.  Her paternal grandparents were Charles W I Markin and Lucinda Dechard; her maternal grandparents were Henry Fillinger and Elizabeth Ferril. She had a brother and three sisters, named Jefferson Taylor, Nancy Susan, Sarah and Miranda S.  She was the oldest of the five children.
