Mary Emma Coffland 
Mary Emma was born in 1859 in Belmont County, Ohio.1 Mary Emma's father was James William Nicholas Coffland and her mother was Sarah Ann Varner. Her paternal grandparents were Lancelot Coffland and Eliza Beckett; her maternal grandparents were John "Johnny" Varner Jr and Irena Emma Andrews. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Charles Wesley, Francis Allen, John H., Eliza Eleanor and Susan I. She was the second youngest of the six children. She died at the age of 51 in 1910 in Harrison or Belmont County, Ohio.1 -
