Charles L was born on November 17th, 1890 in Fulton Co, IL.1 Charles L's father was Hiram Franklin Yocum and his mother was Sarah Jane Copeland. His paternal grandparents were Jacob Preston Yocum and Sarah Margaret Glasscock. He had four brothers and seven sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Jesse William, Edward, Theodore G, Hiram Franklin, Eliza Jane, Margaret Louise, Nellie Belle, Mina Beatrice, Ethel, Infant Twin, Ruth and Infant. He was the fourth oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 57 on November 19th, 1947 in Bushnell, McDonough Co, IL. He was buried in Bushnell Cem, Bushnell, McDonough Co, IL.1 1 General Notes
