John Henry Vaughn

John Henry was born in 1860 in MO.¹   John Henry's father was William Vaughn and his mother was Melinda POWELL. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named Charles D., William, Frank, James W., Ben, Elijah B., Albert David, LUCINDA, Georgia, Eva May and Arena Belle.  He was the oldest of the twelve children.  He died at the age of 63 in 1923 in Newton IA.¹
