James Walton POWELL 
James Walton was born on January 24th, 1812 in Kentucky.1 James Walton's father was Charles POWELL and his mother was Sarah Leah GOLDMAN. His paternal grandparents were Charles POWELL and Sarah GHOLSON; his maternal grandfather was Henry Goldman. He had eight brothers and two sisters, named Lewis, Henry, John, David, Jacob, Cyrus, Elijah, Goldman, Sarah and Polly. He was the third youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 79 on April 16th, 1891 in Erath, Texas.1 -
