Walter MARSHALL 
Walter was born in 1198 in Pembroke, Pembrokeshire, Wales.1 Walter's father was William FITZGILBERT and his mother was Isabel Fitzgilbert de CLARE. His paternal grandparents were John FITZGILBERT and Sibilla (Sibyl) de SALISBURY; his maternal grandparents were Richard Fitzgilbert de CLARE and Aoife Eva MacDermot MCMURROUGH. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Gilbert, Richard, William II, Anselm, Margaret, Maud (Matilda), Isabel, Joane, Sibyl and Eve (Eva). He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 47 on November 24th, 1245 in Goodrich Castle, London, Middlesex, England. He was buried in ,Tintern, Abbey, England.1 1 General Notes
