Maud (Matilda) MARSHALL 
Maud (Matilda) was born about 1192 in Of, Pembroke, Pembrokeshire, Wales and her baptism took place in September 1201.1 Maud (Matilda)'s father was William FITZGILBERT and her mother was Isabel Fitzgilbert de CLARE. Her paternal grandparents were John FITZGILBERT and Sibilla (Sibyl) de SALISBURY; her maternal grandparents were Richard Fitzgilbert de CLARE and Aoife Eva MacDermot MCMURROUGH. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Gilbert, Richard, Walter, William II, Anselm, Margaret, Isabel, Joane, Sibyl and Eve (Eva). She was the second oldest of the eleven children. She died on March 27th, 1248. She was buried in Tintern Abbey, Chapel Hill, Monmouthshire, England.1 1 General Notes
