Henry de Grey 
Henry de was born about 1260 in Of Codnor, Derby, Eng.1 Henry de's father was John de Grey and his mother was Lucy de Mohun. His paternal grandparents were Richard de Grey and Lucy de Humez; his maternal grandparents were Reginald II de Mohun and Hawise FitzPiers. He was an only child. He died in September 1308 in Aylesford, Kent.1 General Notes

PAGE line 50 p 52 Henry De Grey of Codnor was married to Eleanor De Courteney. Henry was th e son of Sir John De Grey and wife Lucy De Mohun (daughter of Sir Reynold De Mohun and Hawis e FitzGeoffrey).
Sir John De Grey is said to have been the son of Sir Richard De Grey and wife Lucy De Humez . This information is found in Ancestral Roots (line 143) and The Magna Charta Sureties (lin e 124). Also Magna Charta Vol. 3 page 402 contains part of this line. The only source which l ists Sir Richard and Lucy De Humez is Ancestral Roots
