Emma de GAUNT 
Emma de was born about 1071 in Of, Folkingham, Lincolnshire, England.1 Emma de's father was Gilbert de Gant and her mother was Alice de MONTFORT. Her paternal grandparents were Rudolph de Gand and Gisele de Luxemburg; her maternal grandparents were Hugh de MONTFORT and Alice de BEAUFFOU. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named Henry de, Ralph de, Hugh de, Geoffrey de, Robert de, Gilbert de, Walter de, Felia de, Matilda de, Alice de and Agnes de. She was the second oldest of the twelve children. She was buried before 1135.1 General Notes
