William Mathias IV Slaymaker 
William Mathias IV was born on October 30th, 1858 in Lancaster Co., PA. William Mathias IV's father was William Mathias III Slaymaker and his mother was Mary Catharine Eckert. His paternal grandparents were William Mathias, Jr. Slaymaker and Elizabeth Ellmaker. He had two brothers and nine sisters, named Peter Eckert, George C. Eckert, Lucy Eckert, Elizabeth E., Jane Kinzer, Catherine Amanda, Caroline Augusta, Mary Ellen, Laura Georgia, Edith Iola and Margaret. He was the fifth youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 43 on March 3rd, 1902.General Notes
