George C. Eckert Slaymaker 
George C. Eckert was born on December 9th, 1860 in Lancaster Co., PA. George C. Eckert's father was William Mathias III Slaymaker and his mother was Mary Catharine Eckert. His paternal grandparents were William Mathias, Jr. Slaymaker and Elizabeth Ellmaker. He had two brothers and nine sisters, named Peter Eckert, William Mathias IV, Lucy Eckert, Elizabeth E., Jane Kinzer, Catherine Amanda, Caroline Augusta, Mary Ellen, Laura Georgia, Edith Iola and Margaret. He was the fourth youngest of the twelve children. He died at 3 months old on March 20th, 1861.General Notes
