Saloy Jared

Saloy was born on February 8th, 1832 in Breckenridge Co., Kentucky.¹ Saloy's father was Mayson Jared and his mother was Polly Dowell. His maternal grandparents were Elijah Dowell and Jemima Board. He had six brothers and eight sisters, named James, Joel, William, Israel, John, Clayton, Eliza, Mary, Letitia, Melinda, Amanda, Sarah, Safrona and Mirian. He was the second oldest of the fifteen children. He died at the age of 8 on January 3rd, 1841.²
