Mary Elizabeth Jared

Mary was born on December 8th, 1836 in Breckenridge Co., Kentucky.¹ Mary's father was Mayson Jared and her mother was Polly Dowell. Her maternal grandparents were Elijah Dowell and Jemima Board. She had seven brothers and seven sisters, named Saloy, James, Joel, William, Israel, John, Clayton, Eliza, Letitia, Melinda, Amanda, Sarah, Safrona and Mirian. She was the fourth oldest of the fifteen children.
