Safrona Jared

Safrona was born on December 5th, 1850 in Breckenridge Co., Kentucky.¹ Safrona's father was Mayson Jared and her mother was Polly Dowell. Her maternal grandparents were Elijah Dowell and Jemima Board. She had seven brothers and seven sisters, named Saloy, James, Joel, William, Israel, John, Clayton, Eliza, Mary, Letitia, Melinda, Amanda, Sarah and Mirian. She was the thirteenth oldest of the fifteen children.
