Clayton D Jared

Clayton was born on January 20th, 1852 in Breckenridge Co., Kentucky.¹ Clayton's father was Mayson Jared and his mother was Polly Dowell. His maternal grandparents were Elijah Dowell and Jemima Board. He had six brothers and eight sisters, named Saloy, James, Joel, William, Israel, John, Eliza, Mary, Letitia, Melinda, Amanda, Sarah, Safrona and Mirian. He was the fourteenth oldest of the fifteen children.
