George Thomas Brooks 
George was born on August 28th, 1844 in Plymouth and his baptism took place on December 25th, 1846.1 George's father was Thomas Steer and his mother was Mary Ann Brooks. His paternal grandparents were George Steer and Elizabeth Sherrill. He had five brothers and a sister, named Philip, Robert, George, Herbert, Edmund and Ada.-
