William Clarke

William was born on May 29th, 1827 in Northwold, Norfolk and his baptism took place there on June 24th, 1827.¹

William's father was Henry Clarke and his mother was Sarah Wiseman.  His paternal grandparents were John Clarke and Hannah Flatt. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Henry, Robert, Rebecca, Rebecca and Sarah.  He was the third oldest of the six children. He had two half-brothers and four half-sisters, named James, John, Sarah, Ann, Rebecca and Martha.  He died at the age of 77 in 1904.²
