Lillias was born in 1874 in Northwold, Norfolk.¹

Birth Notes

Lillias' father was William Clarke and her mother was Elizabeth Potter. Her paternal grandparents were Henry Clarke and Sarah Wiseman; her maternal grandparents were John Potter and Ann Calaby. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Walter, William, Charles, Jane, Mary and Rebekah. She was the youngest of the seven children.
